I’m running the latest is it 3.2.3? The latest to use the Halo remote.

Wondering if anyone can offer some guidance with an issue I seem to be having. I have a wall mounted T3 TP (POE) and a desktop T4 TP (wireless) as well as 3 mobile phones and a chime. Everything seems to be working except for the wall mounted TP where the intercom just doesn’t seem to work. I have tried rebooting the device but I’m the communication agent it shows the state as “0: Not Ready”. The other TP and Chime so the state as “1: Idle” and work no problem. Everything else on the T3 seems to work just not the intercom. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

I got my Halo last night and got it up and running. It was used a little and then left on the side overnight. Probably been around 14 hours or so and currently at 82% battery. That would suggest it would easily last two days or so which I think is sufficient. Overall really impressed so far. Definitely feels more premium than the SR260, I just hope it’s bulletproof and just “works” like the old remotes did. I skipped the Neeo so never experienced the issues with those.

Might be a dumb question, is there a way to change the C4 touchscreens to a list view for the cameras instead of a grid view? List view shows live thumbnails on the phone and iPad but not sure how to get a list view on the TP’s. Thanks

Good to know. Is there a way to ship these to the UK? Are all buttons configurable in C4 like a C4 keypad?

I have a few Hue bulbs around the house and for some bedrooms recently got some Hue dimmer switches. I have been looking for a long time to have something similar which can work with C4. Anyone have some ideas? As far as I know, there is no driver to use the hue dimmer in C4 and trying to bodge it which surfacing lights in HomeKit and then configuring the switch on Apple Home is a long way around. I have a few LG OLED’s and have been using the Annex4 paid driver. Never had these issues of not switching inputs.

Any more news on availability and pricing on these Halo remotes yet?

I have heard rumours of the Neeo being unavailable from Control4 and there will be no further stock suggesting a Neeo V2. Anyone heard something similar?

The gateway shows as registered but my two touch panels show their state as “0: Not Ready” on the local devices tab

I have tried that and still shows as not ready. It’s odd because the intercom on the Control4 app on the iPhone but the touch panels are greyed out. I have no idea why they show is not ready on the state within the communication agent

I seem to be having issues with my intercom and just can’t seem to get it stable. I have a chime which has been working but now doesn’t seem to make an intercom call correctly. When looking on Composer, I can see my two touch panels show as “0: Not Ready” and the chime shows as “1: Idle”. I’m using FreeSwitch and the gateway shows as registered. I can make intercom calls from the Control4 app on my iPhone to another iPhone but not to the touch panels. I am unable to make and intercom calls from the touch panels. Any help greatly appreciated.

For programming, that’s correct. You have to bind the sensors and PIR’s to something so you can then program off them. As for the SmartCom that’s the same issue I had so decided to connect C4 to the ComIP and have the SmartCom running too. Seems to work fine now. Only think I hate offs I haven’t found a way to rename the part arms.

The Texecom integration does work without binding PIR’s to individual room drivers. You should be able to read from the panel and show all sensors in composer. Just be very careful around using the SmartCom and ComIP. If you want to use Control4 and the Texecom app you need both modules installed.

I have just taken delivery of a new table top 10” T4 screen and it seems to have some major screen flickering. Is there a setting I need to change, known fault or do I just have a dodgy unit?

I have decided to upgrade my existing Draytek router for a Draytek 2962 when they come back in stock.

Any alternative recommendations?

Any reviews out there of the Pakedge RK-1? I am based in the U.K. and just had full fibre installed which gives me up to 900Mbps. My current Draytek router cannot support this whereas I understand the RK-1 supports up to 1Gbps WAN.

It's a shame there is no way to rename the part arm but I suppose once you have used it for a while you know which is which. At the moment the Smartcom is enabling me to use both the app and C4 which is a little odd. I am now disconnecting the Smartcom to see what happens but I expect it to break everything. I just can't find the IP address for the comip to be able to put it into C4.

Thanks for the info. Do you have separate IP’s for the comip and smartcom? Have you been able to name your part arms in C4 or are they still part arm 1,2,3?

Any texecom experts available for remote support? I have just had a Texecom alarm installed and I have some queries about the set up of smartcom and comip along with integration into C4. The control 4 integration has been done on the Smartcom module but I also wanted use of the texecom app so I have had a comip module installed today. I am unsure if i need to disconnect C4 and use a new IP address. Also would like help with history in C4 and naming of part arms. thanks
