  1. I’ve been a Control4 customer for a long time. We just moved from one fully outfitted home into another that has all of the current Control4 equipment and versions. A massive install project! I was hopeful that some of the issues I'd been having in the prior OS would be fixed...but I'm still having issues. The problem is how music is organized in the various music services. I’ve utilized probably six different services at different times. But I primarily use Deezer and Qobuz (for the 24 bit). Both in the prior C4 OS and the current 3 version … when I select "Library" (which are albums, artists, tracks, playlists that have been selected as favorites) in Deezer .. it displays in a totally random order. The order doesn’t seem to make any kind of sense. It’s not chronological or alphabetical. And it certainly isn’t my most frequently used. Not being able to sort the music or playlists in any logical order in Control4 is my single most frequent user interaction frustration of all technology that I use! I once wrote about this years ago, and I think there was a forum discussion at some point, and there was some response that this was a Deezer issue. I had some hopes that the C4 OS3 would solve this. But it’s the same. Deezer says they hear this a lot from C4 customers .. but they claim that it is an entirely Control 4 issue. My Deezer app on my phone and the desktop version allow easy sorting. Same for Qobuz. I have noticed that in C4 my music in Qobuz is sorted in the order of the most recently added album … which is a nudge more helpful … but there is still no way to sort alphabetically or otherwise. Is this something that Control 4 can fix? It would seem to me to be a major issue for anyone who uses Control 4 to play music! If it is a problem for Deezer … can Control4 explain exactly what Deezer (and Qobuz) should do? I'm happy to keep pushing them for answers! I used to have Tidal ... but prefer Deezer and Qobuz so I'm not sure how Tidal is displaying. In general, I think this is a fairly non-trivial issue. It would be like walking into an actual library and trying to find the right book on the shelves if there were no dewey decimal system. Or going into any video streaming service and have no organization to the movies. Why have a high-end application like Control 4 to drive your audio systems (and likely for people who lean audiophile) and then make it so difficult to find the music you want to play?!
