  1. Can't wait for my C4 install with the new home I'm building. My project consists mainly of whole home audio, good wifi (3 Hubs) and some other minor things until I build it up. We do stream on all TVs (Roku) and we have 3 of them of which 2 are 4k capable. Question? Does anyone have info on the ISP being TMobile home internet? Where we live has ATT with only 6mps down (awful). With Tmobile, we can get around 40mps and mostly higher than that with low ping. With that said, how does install work at the demarcation lines when the ISP is strictly cellular? Thanks!!
  2. Do you still have the 10in white T3 screen and PAMP 4?
  3. Anyone have one for sell? Thanks.
  4. I read a post where you were possibly looking to sell your Triad equipment and go with a VS audio matrix.  Are you still looking to sell your triad gear?  I am looking for a Triad AMS24 matrix.  Thanks!

  5. Thanks gents. I am using 14 x 14 Versaboxes at each TV. They will include a wattbox and roku. 2 Cat5e will be ran to wall, ethernet to Roku and HDMI to TV. I will use Audio Baluns, (Snap AV DAC) for sound from TV when wanted. I was thinking at one of the TV locations, (living room with a very high pitched ceiling) that I would use a soundbar. This is where I have the original question about a Triad Nano soundbar. I still want to use the soundbar for TV and also have it as a distributed audio zone when wanted. This room is rather large too. Sonos is now out from what chopedogg88 said. I definitely want sync with no latency. Also, I have a decision to make about ceiling speakers. For my high traffic zones, I am looking at the 8inch KEF Ci 200er with 2 channels per zone. I do have 2 zones that don't have a lot of foot traffic, the office and garage. I am considering buying Polk 8inch RC80i speakers which is a considerable savings and from the reviews, don't have a large quality difference from other mid range speakers. Any opinions here?
  6. Thanks, I will consider the Sonos playbar as well then.
  7. Gotcha, I assumed that Control4 works seamlessly with Triad and since my switch and amp are Triad, wouldn't the Triad stereo soundbar be best? I do have Sonos play 1s, but have decided to keep these completely separate from Control4 and just have them as a portable option. Does Control 4 have good drivers that work seamlessly with Sonos? I want this room to be both an audio zone for the whole house audio and a TV amplification. If you guys believe that the Triad nano soundbar is best, I would have it wired like it was an audio zone and use the ARC or optical to TV. Is this best solution? Lastly, I chose this option as the ceilings in this room are extremely high and having ceiling speakers would not be ideal and wife does not want bookshelves, so soundbar is best option. Thank you! ***Matt Lowe, I do have an unused Denon AVR that I could place in the rack as an option. Would this cause any interruption with Control 4 interface as I would want this zone to work as fast as the others. I guess, use AVR with TV/Audio through it or use Triad Amp and optical to TV?
  8. Thanks, wasn't sure if there was something special having the Triad one.
  9. Is it possible to run a Triad soundbar through the Triad 8 zone power amp instead of having to purchase a Triad one? My distributed audio setup has a Triad 24 matrix, Triad 8 zone power amp and I want to use a Triad soundbar as one of my zones and also as amplified TV. Other than running the cable back to my rack, why get a Triad one? I would already have the EA3 for streaming services...thanks.
  10. I am certain the Triad amp has 12 volt triggers right?
  11. Good points, but that Harman amp seems nice especially if it has good power at 16 channels!
  12. Very excited to adventure into the control 4 system as I am close to signing with my dealer for a custom house we are building. With that said, I will have 8 zones of distributed audio using the 24 by 24 Triad matrix (future growth too), but do you have better options for a power amp to supplement it? I was quoted for a Triad 8 zone for 1700.00. This seems a bit overpriced considering there maybe better options for power. Any recommendations that would still communicate flawlessly in the control 4 system? I currently only need power for at least 8 zones for now...will add another amp with later zone additions. Lastly, I am using 8" KEF ceiling speakers CI200ERs. Thanks!
  13. Fellow Control 4 experts, I am in the process of building my home and am convinced that Control 4 is necessary for my family's needs. With that said, I currently have 8 zones of distributed audio but will be wiring for more future zones not to exceed 15. With that said, what are less expensive options instead of the 24 zone Triad matrix that work well with Control 4? Does JAP or VideoStorm have a product that is just as good? This should also suffice for my amount of sources, but a 16 source option would probably work as well. Thoughts??? Also, I am wondering on choices for a good power amp to push for my distributed audio system. I have read that the Control 4, 8 zone power amp is not as good for it's price which I was quoted at 1700.00. Last question, is it frowned upon if I purchase some of the equipment used and have my dealer install. Thanks!
