C4 Dimmer switch connected to light fixture with 8 25 w incandescent bulbs. One bulb blew out and the switch became warm. Turned off associated breaker. About 24 hrs later, reset breaker, replaced blown bulb in light fixture. Switch is in ‘on’ state, light fixture is powered, but: led lamp on switch is red, (normally green) And switch will not accept ‘off’ state. is the switch defective?
