  1. They do, they are identical. Moving to an EA3 from an EA1 will have zero performance improvements. I'm currently running an office that has 3 x T4 touch panels, Cameras, and alarms all on a CA-1
  2. I’ve always struggled to get double tap to work consistently.
  3. I've officially given up on these remotes. There doesn't seem to be any hope for them. They only work well if you are always pulling them right from the charger but its a crap shoot outside of that. I'm going back to the neeos as I find it way easier to pick it up and in one click everything turns on and I'm good to go. With the halos it takes up to two actions to get to what you want and this is after you wait for the remote to wake up. If they could fix the speed issues and offer a similar interface to the neeo I will switch back.
  4. These run on Tuya. I own one. I haven't attempted to integrate it with C4. They do not pair with Control4 zigbee. Your best bet is buy the Liftmaster 850LM. This will allow you to connect it to your cars homelink buttons. You then hook this into the back of your Control4 controller (contact sensor) or use a z2io to capture the contract closure. You can then action off of it. I do this today and it works really well.
  5. @Rexabyte is who you want to talk to. I think LG changed something in their firmware that broke some IP control.
  6. https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=how+to+reboot+the+control4+halo+remote
  7. Don't make me pull up screenshots of the dealer forums Sony's IP control took a shit a while back. LGs are also having on/off issues. Oh and there is this:
  8. yeah...like Sony...oh wait....that IP integration broke. Ok, try Samsung. Oh those FRAME Tvs keep breaking. Fine...LG it is. Shit...they break too. The best TV integration I've seen has been Roku TV. That API never changes and is super reliable for IP control. TCL is the brand I stick with and it works really well. Otherwise....IR control seems to be full proof way to keep an integration running.
  9. I'm pretty sure you have to recreate the statement, you can't edit a statement.
  10. Just get a z2io and it runs off wall power. Has temp and humidity.
  11. Are you on Roku? I've noticed when Roku switches to HDR it will lose picture for a few seconds before it shows again. The same happens on Shield but its much faster.
  12. The driver is still working well. I was able to get a license today and added it to my project using the version above.
  13. The first ones that came out were red. They haven't been red for MANY years now. The difference between a standard zigbee card and a C4 zigbee card is the firmware number.
  14. The driver above will install and work. You need to get a license from @IntrinsicGroup though. I’m not sure they will sell one right now.
  15. Well, its not too hard to get this driver to load. Just change a few lines in the XML and you are good. @IntrinsicGroup can I get the brother in-law price...DM me GDO_myQ3.c4z
  16. Ok, so c4 is blocking the install not the actual api calls. Thank you.
  17. Does the driver still work for those that have purchased it?
  18. Trash is strong word and I don't agree. I own both. While the Davis Vantage Pro 2 is nice its also a maintenance nightmare. Specifically the rain gauge and keeping it operational. The birds and spiders love that thing. The davis does not contain all of its sensors on the weather station itself and it requires that you run a control panel that looks like its from the 90s. You have to buy another device if you want it to work over wifi. The tempest has lightning detection which the Davis does not. Overall, I'm likely going to remove my Davis soon since the Tempest has been pretty close to the readings on my Davis.
  19. Awesome, Thanks. It sounds like they might be changing their marketing to not say that it can be powered by the garage motor.
  20. Konnected is dropping a version of RATGDO that is powered by the opener. I have a pre-order in. https://konnected.io/products/smart-garage-door-opener-blaq-myq-alternative
  21. The traditional Roku remote doesn't contain a channel up and down button. Its cool that Youtube TV and some other apps support it. You can fix this on your own by repackaging the Roku driver. Inside the C4Z (unzip) you will find an XML file. In that XML file will be a section that determines which buttons to show. You can modify this to show the buttons you want. Control4 tried to match the buttons that a traditional Roku remote shows. @RyanE
  22. Hell No, the M series laptops are the best laptops I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned an MBP m1 and m2. It’s the best battery life of any laptop. From a developer perspective they blow away a windows laptop. I run compose on parallels with my m2 without issue.
  23. I can program off pico buttons. I’m using the leap driver on the non pro hub. make sure you look at the events side of programming. You can program off press and release on any button push.
  24. I still have two remotes at most of my watching locations. A neeo and a halo. The halo just doesn't work sometimes so I have another remote to reach for. It has gotten better but its not as good as the sr-260 or neeo.
  25. Location in the Control4 project. You can change your location in your project and the driver will work. However, that location is used for a lot of other things so I'm not sure you want to do that.
