  1. Hi, I am trying to do the following: if time is between 6AM an 8AM and the "kitchen light" state changes to "on", send a push notification to my phone. Is that possible in Composer HE? Thanks.
  2. Thanks. I will give that a try.
  3. Is there a way to control the color of a custom button based on another condition e.g. variable, scene state, etc?
  4. I have 4 HVAC units connected to my C4 system using the latest C4 thermostat. Is there a way to track the runtime for each unit and whether it is running in cool or heat mode? Something like what Nest does: you can look at each day and see how long each unit has run. Thanks.
  5. Curious how you solved that. Can you share?
  6. Is there a way to generate a report that shows how/when each device is used in control 4 (which scenes, macros, scheduler, or any other triggers?) Thanks.
  7. Hi there, this may be pretty simple but I have not been able to work it out! Use case: I have a bathroom with 2 light switches: one for the main light and other for an LED accent backlight behind the mirror. I want both lights to turn on/off using either switch. So either switch when pressed will turn both on or both off. I don't have composer pro to change the bindings and I am using composer HE. Is there a way to do this programmatically or should I just call my dealer to change how these switches are linked? Thanks.
  8. Thanks for the feedback. Room level programming did the trick.
  9. I am a user not a dealer. I have Composer HE. Here is my use case, I have a home theater, fully controlled through a Neeo remote (projector, tuner, amps, etc). When I hit Watch>Netflix, I would like to room lights to dim. When I exit the media session, I would like the lights to come back up. Is there a way to program that in Composer HE or do I need to call my dealer? Thanks.
  10. I am not sure of this is helpful, but I had a issue recently with my control4 devices acting up: scenes not turning some lights on or off, some keypads not operating the lights at times (very inconsistent). After a bunch of debugging with my dealer, turns out that it was wifi interference and we had to move the access point to a different room away from the controller. That seems to have helped. Is there a wifi router or AP close to that TV?
  11. Hello, relatively new to Control4. I am looking for a way to create an event log that shows me what happens and when in my system: lights, scenes, sensors, etc. I have access to Composer HE. The specific issue I am trying to debug are some lights that come on in the middle of the night. I suspected a scheduler agent triggering them but I can't find any scheduler that runs at night that triggers those lights. I have a relatively large system with 96 devices, excluding my alarm sensors. Running EA1+EA5 with the latest firmware (upgraded about 10 days ago). This is my first C4 system. I came from a platform that allowed for extensive DYI setup and logging (I wrote the scripts) and I am trying to get used to how to best use this locked down, dealer dependent, system. Thanks.
  12. Thanks all for your help. I will loop back with my pro and see if we can resolve this using a diff zigbee channel.
  13. Hi, I just moved into a new house and had a full C4 system installed by the local pro. I have a EA5 + EA1 running everything. I have 96 devices (mostly switches and dimmers) throughout the house. I've had the system for about 6 weeks now and lighting scenes are very inconsistent: when I turn on the scene not all the loads turn on and when I turn it off, not all the loads turn off. This is true for all scenes in the system. I have to execute a scene more than once to get all the loads states to where they needs to be. Behavior is inconsistent using the C4 keypads, the iOS app, and when the scenes are triggered using the Scheduler agent. Individual load switches are working fine which probably means it is not an electric issue but rather a C4 hardware or programming issue. My dealer has been trying to troubleshoot but so far has not been able to resolve. He upgraded the firmware last week for everything in the house to the latest, I think v3.3, but still not resolved. I know this is probably a very broad question and hard to troubleshoot but any ideas on where to start or what to try? Thanks.
  14. Very new to C4 (activated 3 days ago). In Composer HE, what does the button "Synchronize Scene" do? Thanks.
