  2. I could not find anything regarding this topic, would you be so kind to share a link.
  3. I recently updated the firmware on my EA5 and Composer Home edition to 3.4.1, I am connecting to local system and everything shows as ready to connect, when I hit connect I get the message that I could not connect to director with the IP address, what might this error be for and how do I resolve?
  4. I have a Yale front door lock, it has been working fine for 3 years, the batteries died and I replaced them, the lock is still talking to C4 and I can toggle lock / unlock status, C4 is not controlling the actual lock, is there something else that I need to do? I also noticed that when the batteries died another lock that was deleted from C4 (Baldwin) has re-appeared in same area, could that be the cause of this? Looking for any guidance on how I should troubleshoot. I also noticed that The pin code for lock is also missing in C4, is that required?
  5. I am looking for a single zone mini split ac unit that is C4 compatible, looking for units that are compatible with Control 4
  6. Sounds good, I will deploy my Roku and Apple TV then! In regards to my Android Tv box, how well does a HDMI splitter work to connect two TV's that are right next to each other to the same TV source and integrating with C4?
  7. I have added a couple of brand new TV's into my home from both LG and Samsung, they both have a good choice of apps that will do for my day to day needs,. Previously I used a Roku and Apple TV in each room for direct app launch and providing me with the airplay features I required. I have some good info at hand but wanted to double check before connecting therefore I have a few questions re my TV and App Integration: Do both Samsung and LG TV's work well with C4 and launching apps in general e..g YouTube, Netflix, Peacock? Is it recommended to use the built-in Apps within TV or to proceed with using a Roku or Apple TV? The LG & Samsung TV has built in air-play support, is it reliable or is it advisable to connect an Apple TV if this functionality is desired? How well does a HDMI splitter work to connect two TV's that are right next to each other to the same TV source (Apple TV) and integrating with C4?
  8. where can I download the newer V2.0 firmware, I have an NK-1 with old v1 firmware which has no use as it cannot even detect my 4200 WAPS

  11. Any advice for the below, before I try to remove and replace AP's: Should I set channel to Auto for 2.4 GHZ? As a best practice should i still use Channels 1, 6 and 11 for 2.4GHZ at 20MHZ? Should I enable Fast Roaming? Band Steering, should I enable? Radio levels
  12. The 4500 is indoor, approx another 500 feet at front and 900 ft at rear of house which is living space. I want to check for overlapping dead spots and remove excess Ads, I also want to set the correct channels for 2.4 GHZ to accommodate C4 and Philips Hue
  13. 4500 SQ foot house - single story with outdoor living space at front of house and rear. Also very poor cell phone coverage in area therefore wifi needs to cover dead spots around house that is why I added a few additional AP's. Is there g a good tool that I can use to validate wifi signal and overlapping coverage?
  14. I have 6 indoor Pakedge 4200 WAPs in my house and also an outdoor 2200 AP, 4 of these have been set-up by my dealer and I have added three since. A recent software update has changed the channels and also to use Auto channel functionality, and I have noticed some issues on the network interfering with Zigbee therefore I have a few questions having reviewed the publicly available pakedge documentation. Should I set channel to Auto for 2.4 GHZ or 5 GHZ networks? As a best practice should i still use Channels 1, 6 and 11 for 2.4GHZ? Should I enable Fast Roaming? Band Steering, should I enable? Should close by AP's be hardcoded to use the same channel? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
