fair enough, all i am saying is this is what fixed it for me and thanks for the additional education as i am one year into using C4.

same happened to me, need to follow these steps. 1. disable shield ethernet connection from shield settings. 2. pull out battery from C4 remote 3. reboot Shield 4. enable Shield ethernet connection. 5. put battery back in C4.

I have av company to integrate. My request is strictly on the shade side to be able to fulfill my request, provide motorized shade per size, in high voltage, Ethernet based and just install the shade confirming it will work with Control4

Purpose home theatre room reno size 116 in wide x 46 in high with line high voltage 110V put in place live in Vancouver Canada and getting frustrated as unable to connect with a company that can give me specifics of what I need to work with Control4. Do I need a hub? What is a quiet motor? Told about neosmart motors work with C4, Lutron over my budget. Don’t believe Qmotion sold here. Any recommendations and advice, thanks. Carm
