  1. Anyone have luck with integrating moving heads with Control4? Have a few simple 21ch movers and looking to add them into a project. Doesn't look like many of the usual suspects out there do more than single channel foggers or 1-5ch LED strips. Or am I looking in the wrong place?
  2. Anybody have any experience with the aforementioned product? Looks to have several methods of control on their end (several wall switches/Wifi Hub/etc.) and was wondering if anyone here has experience with this product in the past with Control4 integration. Thanks!
  3. This looks really rad for huge systems with a lot of battery powered devices! Chances we'd be able to get something similar for Lutron devices like shades in the future since Hunter Douglas and QMotion are do-able?
  4. I know that with Homeworks, the best practice for triggering scenes is to bind the scene to a phantom keypad in Lutron Designer (not the phantom buttons on the processor) and then have the phantom keypad be a regular keypad in Control4 that gets it's buttons pressed as a device action in programming. Simple and effective, and I think the user gets feedback in the C4 app still about the lights? But Radio Ra2 has no phantom keypads in it's software, so what is the best way to trigger Lutron scenes in Control4 in this case and still have user feedback in the app? Me and my coworkers are trying to wrap our brains around this one. Phantom buttons on the repeater that has scenes tied to them and then Control4 triggers the phantom buttons through programming? Or program a keypad button press if the scene is tied to the actual keypad button?
  5. I had assumed as much. I'll just have to double check with TRENDnet to make sure the version switch the client has installed isn't a discontinued version with EEE/Green Ethernet.
  6. Hello all, I am seemingly not finding information regarding Control4's stance on Green Ethernet/EEE, but I assume it's the same as Crestron/Audinate/etc. in that we should turn off Green Ethernet/EEE on all ports connected to equipment in the Control4 system? Scenario: Had a potential client today that we were looking at, and they had a lot of older touchscreens (system is 2.9.1) and several have been falling off with their connection to Director. There are other issues with their system that could be related, but these touchscreens are being fed by two TRENDnet TPE-TG160g (unmanaged PoE switch). There are three released versions of this switch, with the most recent not having 802.3az listed among the standards, but the previous two (now discontinued) versions did have them listed in their specs. I would have to get serial numbers and call TRENDnet to get exact info from them, but in the meantime, to better prep a Plan B, would it be safe to assume that these switches would need to be swapped out to something different?
