  1. How are you viewing it? My dealer added the chime as two separate things ( a camera and intercom). Shows up in my app under Security -> Camera and also Intercom -> Front Doorbell Intercom If I go to security -> camera, I don't get sound. Though, if I view recorded motion history from that same area, the videos do have sound. If I go to intercom -> front doorbell intercom, I do have sound.
  2. I'm looking forward to actually playing with these settings, because yeah, even at 90% I have to be directly in front of the camera, 3 feet away to trigger it. But....at night...any light change (like a car's headlights reflecting off a wall), will set off the motion. Currently I also have programming created to automatically turn on the front lights when motion is triggered at night, and turn off after 5 minutes. But....when the lights turn off at 5 minutes, another motion triggers. So, I had to create a separate 5 min 30 sec timer, where if that timer is still running and motion is detected, DONT turn on the lights again. Otherwise motions were being triggered all night long every 5 minutes in a never ending cycle.
  3. So, I'm using the IP address of the camera, but...then its asking for a username and password to login. My control4.com password didn't work....would this have been a login info that was created specifically for the camera by my dealer?
  4. Its an EA-5 so that wasn't the issue. I did have my dealer do a manual driver update which updated it, and....now the dimming switches are reporting status correctly! Thanks guys for all of your help.
  5. Yeah, I did that too...it didn't change the "(0) Updates" unfortunately.
  6. Thanks...I see that now and yes, setting all to "auto update" does change all 16 kasa drivers to either be on/off. Right now, the driver central driver says no updates: Though the kasa device properties all still say "update available, License Activated" as my above screenshot.
  7. OK, so...I have 16 Kasa devices...and it looks like each device has its own "automatic updates" setting, like the attached image-> Now...do you have to have all 16 kasa devices all set to "on" for the driver to update? I just checked, and I had changed 15 to "on" and one device to "off" by accident, and the driver hasn't updated. Or, is it somewhere else where you force a driver update?
  8. Yeah, if your old doorbell supplies low voltage power, then it hooks up directly to your old power wires. No batteries.
  9. Dang, just got this installed and yeah, frustrating that I can't edit any of its settings. Right now, I'm only seeing still images in doorbell history and not video snippets...
  10. Yep, mine always show on as well, though do work when clicking the button to turn off/on, change dimmness, but...yes...always shows on in my navigator.
  11. OK, no problem. Where is the poll time adjustable at? If my dealer added the driver, are they the only ones that can change driver settings?
  12. OK, as mentioned in the above thread, you state: The driver polls for feedback. As such we don’t know the state instantaneously. Also we don’t see button presses so this will never work. And as the user tried to confirm "Ok. Are those triggers (top button tap and bottom button tap) useful for anything then?" Just confirming...that "top single tap" and "bottom single tap" don't ever work (even though they are enabled options in the programming tab). Right now, I have bathroom fans, and a timer to turn them off after 5 minutes. Current programming is -> When Kasa -> Guest Bathroom fan level changes if Kasa-> Guest bathroom Fan is on -> Start Timer "Bathroom Fan Guests" Which works...though there is a delay for the timer starting. How often is the driver polling for level changes? It seems random...the timer seems to be delayed 1-15 seconds or so every time I try to test it...
  13. Thanks for the quick replies! Ok, no problem. I almost never program on button presses anyway, but on light_state changes instead. Though....I'm guessing now that I don't have much in the way of variables to control...most importantly...Preset_level, right? Currently, I change the preset level several times a day. For example, late night.....preset level is...20%. So if the light is off, preset level is set to 20%, so when a person turns on the light, it goes to 20%. However, once its on...the preset changes to 100% (light level day) so if they push the top button again, it turns on full power. Like this -> If Upstairs->Hallway->Light_state is True Set Upstairs->Hallway->PRESET_LEVEL to the value of Variables->Light Level Day Else Set Upstairs->Hallway->PRESET_LEVEL to the value of Variables->Light Level Current Level Right? And without being able to code on button_press, I couldn't programmatically control preset levels (like, I could have done something similar where "If Light On and Top Button Pressed then set light_level to 100")... I'm guessing I would lose a lot of coding power with TPlink devices, with the upside that its MUCH cheaper. Like, with C4 I can turn on/off and set a dimming level in programming/events, but....thats about the extent of it. Well, and add the devices to ALS scenes.
  14. Ok, but from reading this thread, I can see that I am able to programmatically check current status such as on/off/dimmer level, plus since the light switch gets binded to key buttons (on/off/toggle), do I get event triggers? (like c4 is notified on top button press, bottom button press, etc?)
  15. Ok, I already have 30+ circuits controlled by C4 dimmers (installed about a month ago), but just saw these products and was looking to finish out more of my house with less expensive options. Like...doing bathroom lights which are on dumb switches right now. Basically, the "less important" switches. I've already programmed myself changing light preset levels and auto dimming lights to the new level several times a day. But, if I get HS220s, how much control am I given in composer? 1. Does it have just as much integration as a normal c4 dimmer? Like, the driver makes the HS220 mimic a normal c4 dimmer and gives me access to device variables such as LIGHT_LEVEL, LIGHT_STATE, PRESET_LEVEL, etc? 2. Does it give me programming controls like "ramp to preset level over 2 secs"? I just don't see screenshots of what the actual devices would look like in composer once added by the driver so don't know how much programming control I would have with the dimmers compared to their c4 equivalents.
  16. Great news! Thanks for talking with them about it and being proactive.
  17. Having the same issue. Is there a good way to notify control4 directly about the bug? Does the company have a bug report feature?
