Not to belabor the point, but one wouldn't have to sacrifice the drag-and-drop UI in order to enable this. The way every other similar system I've seen do this (and I've seen a lot) is you double click the "item" and it shows you that item's data (basically the same as if you were adding a new one, but the current values are populated). Then you change what you need and click save/update. Done!

Thanks for the response. Not specifically interested in just volume, but more curious about *any* action. Feels like they should make it easy to change an action (particularly for ones that have multiple settings) rather than have to delete and re-add.

Is there a way to edit/change an existing script action in Composer HE? Simple example: I have a script action that changes the volume for a room. Let's say I want to edit the volume level to use a different number. The only way I see to do that right now is delete the existing action, and add back a new action with the volume level I want. Feels like I'm missing something and that this would be basic functionality. All help appreciated.

I think others have had a similar issue before. When I either edit an existing announcement (created by my dealer via Composer Pro) or try to add a new announcement, the "Play wav file" dropdown list is empty. And, I can't add a new .wave file. No error message, just that the dropdown stays empty. When my dealer looks at that same agent, he sees options in the dropdown. Anyone know why this would be? I have made sure my Windows network is "private". All help appreciated.

Thanks, I was hoping there's an area in the Composer HE application that lists these events. Seems really efficient to have to generate a report to get that data.

I have been having fun building simple scripts to tie to events in Composer Home Edition. Is there a list of all the existing scripts? The only way I know right now to get to them, is to select the device/event the script is triggered by. Thanks.

Ryan: Thanks so much! This totally was the issue. Once I labeled my buttons, they showed up on the Neeo (nice touch that I didn't have to restart the remote -- it detected that a change had been made and it reloaded the settings automatically). I now have the ability to run scripts with custom buttons. My power knows no end!

I have a working script in Composer HE (it does something simple). I have it "attached" to the event "Remove Focused Button 1 Clicked" event. Not sure how to actually see/use the remote focused buttons though. What do I need to do on my remote to trigger that script? Thanks.
