Have had a control 4 system installed as part of home theater and household for audio video control of all TV's, Cable and Apple TVs (x 2) for about 3 years now. Overall, been very satisfied with interface but have had intermittent failure of one of the modules at a specific TV. Thought this module had failed again but turns out, module is fine (disconnected it and plugged it into another location and still worked). The TV in question does not come on. The Control4 does not activate the IR controls. It appears there is no power coming from that particular port on the Control4. If I plug that connection into a different port, the IR lights up. But NOT when in Port 5 (so to speak as there are a total of 5 ports.)
I have discussed with my dealer / installer but he is pretty busy and backed up business wise and may be awhile before he can get here to assess.Any one have any suggestions as to what the problem might be and what / how to rectify the problem?
