  1. I'm not sure what happened, but after my Hub got disconnected, my blind program was no longer working and I started to tinker around. I am using a keypad button where it basically toggles the blinds to go from Open to Favorite Location. What I am doing is creating a variable, where when the blind starts opening, the variable is set to True, and then when the blind is closing, the variable is set to false (See the images below). When I execute the action to open the blinds, the variable isn't changing under Agents. Is there another way someone would suggest to create a "Toggle" for blinds? Since I may use the powerview remote control or someone might use the powerview app, I was hoping that the variable could be used so I can get True feedback.
  2. I have 3 yale assure locks that I am getting rid of. 1 is brand new - yrd226-cba-0BP, it is aged bronze color the other two have only been on my house for about 4 weeks before I replaced with Schlage YRD226-NR-0BP - aged bronze YRD226-NR-619 - nickel I have a spare aged bronze deadbolt part for the lock and nickel inside part that includes the control panel please contact me if interested
  3. Wonder why others are saying they have it pretty instant.
  4. Even when your out on cell signal (assuming strong connection), was connection pretty instant? When I load control4 via cell signal, it loads quickly but the intercom takes longer to load
  5. I’m pretty sure mine is powered through PoE. I’ll double check with my installer.
  6. I previously had a nest doorbell camera but it wasn’t working great as people couldn’t hear me. When I upgraded into control4 for my house, i was talked into getting the chime. I like how I can see the camera and use the motion sensor to turn on my porch and outside flood lights. I hate it for the sole purpose it was created in that it’s hard to access to history and pretty worthless when trying to answer a call when someone rings it. im considering to rip it out and sell it on eBay and then just installing a new ring or best camera. I saw there is a driver so I can use the motion sensor which is important to me. my installer told me that ring and nest still have that problem in that there is a long delay when someone rings the doorbell. Right now, it takes 30 seconds to 2 min for the control4 screen +’intercom to load up before I can see who is there or talk. Is there a long delay with ring/nest? I don’t think there is a way to incorporate the ring camera live view into control4 but I’m okay with that. The history is so much easier to view. I have other cameras set up through hikvision and can view them on control4. Is there a way to bring the ring camera into hikvision and then view it that way?
  7. I’m not sure my exact set up , but whenever I restart my Fire Stick, the sr260 takes a long time (4-5 min) before I can use it again. I will see a screen that says fire tv does not have a remote control connected. After a few minutes, the warning goes away and I can use the remote control. is this typical or is there something I can do to stop this?
  8. Awesome, thank you! It looks like button Prev on SR260 is "recall" in the commands. I appreciate it, it worked
  9. I am trying to program my SR260 remote control so when you hit the Previous Button, it would take you to the previous screen similar to a back button. Currently, I have to hit the Cancel button to you back. I have been looking all around in Home Composer, and can't figure it out. I've tried the following: - In Monitoring: I set the properties in Fire TV Apps to: Cancel Button = Back , POUND Button = Back - In Programming: I could only program off the Room Driver as the SR260 doesn't have any options for what happens when you hit any button. I made it say "When command "Back" is received, send Command "cancel" to Family Room , also send Command "back" to Family Room , also Enter "#" on the Family Room>Fire TV None of these are working. I was hoping that when I hit the previous button, it would then send the cancel command which means it should go back. Does the Prev Button (on SR260) not mean "back" when you go to room control and click on Commands? I don't see an option for "Prev" in the drop down menu, so I am assuming it is "back" in the drop down. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  10. I was not aware that existed. Thanks! I will take a look to see if I can get it and if it can be used on the yale assure locks
  11. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, c4 never made this property for the yale lock to be shown under device variable.
  12. I am looking to create custom programming for a Yale Lock of mine. I see in the Control4 App, there is the ability to enable/disable 1 Touch Locking. I see this same attribute when I go to the Monitoring which is shown in the picture below. If I go into the programming area, I do not see any options for the lock or through the variables for the 1 touch locking. The only place it is present (that I am aware of) is through the monitoring tab under the properties. I'd like to create programming that would be like this: If door is open (Front Door Contact), Disable one touch Locking. If door is closed (Front Door Contact), Enable one touch locking. The simple idea is that when I have the door open, I by accident hit the keypad on the yale lock which automatically extends the deadbolt. I don't realize this happening, and then I close the door with the deadbolt extended which then hits the door frame and is leaving a mark. I don't like having the door automatically lock which I know would solve this issue, but having it lock after 30 seconds or so wouldn't work for us. Is anyone aware of a way to create programming like i described above? I assume that if the programming tab doesn't show these options for the lock, then there isn't a way to somehow to link to the property options that are seen in the monitoring tab
  13. Does the auto lock driver enable you to have control over the 1 touch locking? An idea of mine is to program that if the door is open, then 1 touch locking is disabled. And if the door is closed, then one touch locking is enabled. I looked in control4 , but I’m unable to select the 1 touch locking through the programming side. I can only edit it through the properties section under monitoring
  14. Thank you. But I’m not looking for the door to lock itself. We rarely lock our garage and we usually leave our front door unlocked during the day while we are home. I am not looking to change that but rather stop the lock from slamming shut. I’ll look into the auto lock driver
  15. I have yale locks installed and hate that it can lock when the door is open. We often hit the keypad by accident when the door is open which extends the deadbolt. We then close the door without realizing and boom, it hits the door frame. I was told from Yale I can disable one touch locking which means you must enter the code in to lock the door which is horrible. I see on control4 lock management, you can enable/disable one touch lock. When I tried to click it, I got an error saying it failed to save. im not sure why the lock management in control4 can’t save it but are others having that problem? my idea is that I can tell yale lock to disable one touch locking if the door is open (through door contacts) and once door is closed, one touch is enabled. So the only way to lock the door if it is open is to enter the code. I don’t know if this would work in practice or if the enable /disable one touch takes a long time to work
