  1. Replace the lights? Like bulbs? 1. I don't want wifi-only devices. And 2. My primary room that I want the automation uses LED disc lights that are hardwired. So automation dimmer switches are my primary option. I just tried another switch and it's ramp up/down for on/off is terrible. Not that is the only thing I care about. I don't want to get into the Phillips Hue category of automation.
  2. Thank you for all the information. "Dealer required" is all I need to know now. I had no idea. And that does not appeal to me. Thanks again. I hope others in search of this information will benefit from this thread. Help on Amazon did not reveal any of this information.
  3. Not asking for pricing. But what is generally the lowest cost bare minimum SmartHub for Zigbee Pro and specifically the C4-dim1-z-x ? Which another user hear mentioned it has it's own stack of Zigbee Pro.
  4. Possibly... I only have 6 of these switches. And only 3 of them do I use daily. But I am not a fan of a mixed setup if I can avoid it.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I will look into selling these switches and getting regular Zigbee switches. I didn't know that Zigbee Pro switches were not backwards compatible with Zigbee hubs. That is good to know.
  6. I have multiple Control4 C4-dim1-z-x dimmer switches around my house. So I bought an Amazon Echo 4th Gen because it shows that it can be used as a Zigbee smarthub controller. But Alexa never finds the switch I am testing with that I left the mesh and it is now solid green top/bottom LEDs. Does anyone know how to get the Amazon Echo Zigbee controller to find the switch? I can't find directions anywhere.
