My dealer programmed the buttons for me, but I cannot seem to find where I can change it in HE. Does it have the feature? I can program events for single/double/triple taps for those buttons in the "Programming" section, but it happens after the current button's action is performed, which isn't ideal. Thanks for any pointers!

The intercom rings but when I accept the call I see no video. I could right now connect to Cameras and see its video feed manually, but it has always been a bit sporadic. I could never get the video from the call directly. Furthermore, if I call the intercom, I also never see video but voice is OK. So to summarize: - accept call: no video, voice sometimes OK - call intercom: no video, voice OK - view intercom from security/cameras, video OK My dealer tried a different intercom and same thing. He suspected it had power issue due to sharing a power supply with the alarm system but after putting it to a separate power supply it's the same. He said tech support blames the router (I use ATT fiber), but I am skeptical. Everything else in the house works fine. Home network is fine. I have 5 APs at the house and there is full signal at the doorbell. Has anyone seen this?

I am running the latest (3.2.4) HE from a VM on my Macbook. First time launch, activated it, chose to use remote option, added my account name, and was able to see my controller with a 10. address (should be the TAP network interface). But I got "Unable to communicate with project" (I have 4sight). I also see a warning from my account page for a security patch so I followed the steps and installed it, but made no difference. Any idea what could be the issue?

It happens even if I stay in the same room. Anyway, hope my dealer will be able to figure out why. I just wanted to check if there was any known issue with airplay.

Hmm, I have 5 APs in the house and signal is strong, and I have no other network issues...but let me check with my dealer.

Just trying out my new C4 system and I tried to use ShairBridge so I can play music with Airplay from both my phone and laptop. But it always disconnects after a while. Is this a known issue? What's the best way to stream music from laptop?

I am about to install alarms for my doors. I don't want subscription for my alarm system (honeywell), so I'd be solely relying on the control4 app. What control does the app have for the alarms? Does it allow me to enable/disable my alarms for each location individually?

I've been working with a dealer for my new house for the past 18 months. He has done almost all the work, with a few items remaining. However, he has a tendency of disappearing and not responding to my messages, and any time we got to meet, he gave unreliable times. Now he is doing this again, as I am ready to move in. But the door station hasn't been installed, none of the keypads are programmed and the alarm system needs integration into control4. My question is: 1. how do I find reliable dealers in my area? i checked the list of dealers and went on yelp, and most of them had few reviews (the one I went with actually had 5 star reviews!) 2. Do I have to rely on dealers to program my keypads etc? Can I do it myself? Thank you!

Thank you, I think I'll go with Yale too. Just a dumb question since I am new: what is a driver? is it software? Also, if you buy lock from Amazon do you need a dongle to integrate with C4? So which way is better, buying it directly from C4 or from Amazon + dongle?

Hi new C4 customer here in the US. I am still building it out and my C4 integrator sent me the link of compatible locks. I was thinking of using Schlage before but now it seems the Yale Assure looks the best bet. But I have read the forum a bit and am still a bit confused. 1. I should buy the Zigbee version right? 2. Some people mention that I should buy from C4 as its Zigbee is different from the standard. Is it really true? My integrator seems to not think so. Just want to be sure.
