  1. It sounds like you sending device specific commands instead of room based commands. Select the room on the right side then select your watch/listen option from the drop down. The lights you can do as is or you could call it to activate a light scene.
  2. 100% this is routing logic issue introduced with 3.4. I have had the same issue on multiple projects with AVRs. You can use AV path setter drivers to fix the issue or tell the AVR to switch to the correct input when a video source is selected. Either way it is annoying to deal with.
  3. I have never used a dimmer module to control a fan but this sounds like a bad idea. Install a C4 fan speed controller single gang unit close to the panel, hopefully you only have one. Also make sure to look at the fan you have as many of the newer ones with RF remotes specifically say you will damage the unit with anything other than a switched control leg. Alternatively if the fan does come with an RF remote wire the fan hot and use a bond bridge to integrate it.
  4. Everyone looking at this from a network issue. Do you listen to music at low volume and do you know if your amps are on auto sense or 12v trigger? I have this issue in my bedroom cause I don't have the time to switch the amp to trigger mode..
  5. They will be pushing a soft update out to systems tomorrow to fix a known bug with a specific API call, I forget which one was having issues but not all drivers use it. From the 3.4 upgrades I have done I do know they updated how director handles AV paths. 2 Systems I ran into this same issue which worked fine prior to 3.4 Sources into an HDMI matrix with audio extraction. Extracted audio into an audio matrix along with audio path from controller. HDMI matrix HDMI to an AVR, audio matrix also has an RCA connection on a different input for streaming audio to the AVR. Use to work just fine and C4 was not confused only used audio from matrix when streaming audio. What it now does. From an off state to any source image and audio are selected correctly. Switching to a new source then has the AVR select the input from the audio matrix so there is audio but no image. Was able to fix one with programming the other I fixed with AV path setter drivers. Also they remove terminal access as of 3.4
  6. @obas Please take a look here https://mirusinc.net/certified-dealers we currently have 2 dealers in the Austin Texas region. For wash lights we can do custom build to order RGBW (3K Kelvin) well lights. These are rated for full outdoor use. For general white accent spot lights we have seen several of our dealers integrate standard 12v DC landscape lighting into a Mirus system as well. If you're interested in more information, have your Control4 Dealer go to https://mirusinc.net/mirus-dealer-application to become a Mirus Dealer.
  7. That's fair, I missed that part. I had to do it for an old HSIM driver but that one was not proxy related.
  8. The driver is obsolete for a reason. But this is a work around I have had to do in the past. Find the driver that replaces it in your my drivers folder. Delete the new one. You will also need to terminal into the controller to remove the new driver if it was ever added to that project. In composer right click on controller and select terminal. In the window follow these steps. Warning if you remove the wrong thing it could brick things so be careful. type "cd mnt/internal/c4z" press enter type "ls -all" press enter You now have a list of all c4z drivers the controller has. find your driver and the folder type "rm -r *folder name" press enter type "rm *drievrname.c4z" press enter That will remove the old files. At this point reboot controller This should remove all items telling composer it is obsolete. In composer search for your driver with only the local selection enabled.
  9. I am guessing you are using the 3.5mm ports if you switched to an EA3 to test it. Did you try hitting the null check box just for S&Gs? I have a Core 5 in a project using both RS232 connections with no issues.
  10. I did this for another dealer. We tried a Roku first as C4Toys mentioned but it would never connect. Ended up using the MiraCast to the gym LG TV then SPDIF audio out of TV sent back to audio matrix in the rack. Worked with no delay issues.
  11. The issue may be that you have 2 devices capable of controlling volume and Control4 may not know how to route the audio signal.. Either in the AVR or through programming set Zone 2 to always come on at a specific volume. Also use an AV path driver between the AVR Zone 2 and AMS connections. Set it to the laundry room and set the audio paths to only allowed for endpoint room. If you have an audio path from your controller into the AVR you will need to put a second AV path driver in. Put that driver between controller audio connection and the AVR. Select the laundry room and set audio path drop downs to not allowed for selected room or something along those lines.
  12. I have a client with a new addition and the security company made it a second partition on the security system. They had an old hsim from house logix installed and all working fine for the single partition. The old driver stated it only supported 1 partition so I figured get another HSIM and used a second driver. After adding a second HSIM from Snap (both plugged into the back of an EA5) the result was both partitions could send data to control4 (sensors worked ) but no command form Control4 would go to the system(Arm / disarm). I did try some other shenanigans but nothing worked. I talked to Control4 support a bit and their best guess was a keypad ID issue (confirmed not this) or a ground loop issue. With having the old house logix unit I could not update to the current driver so I got another new HSIM, updated the drivers, added new HSIM connected to a different controller, and OS to 3.3.1 today and still had the same issues. I can get either partition to work when that is the only HSIM connected to the security panel but when both are connected I do not see any responses from the security system after sending an arm or disarm command. I understand the driver documentation states it only supports 1 partition but there should be some work around for this. Has anyone done a dual partition honeywell integration with or without the HSIM unit?
  13. Did you try setting the max volume in the driver for composer vs the web gui? That may resolve your issue. You have to do it per output and is the last field on the drivers property page.
  14. Take a look at our product line mirusinc.net we have a centralized low voltage lighting system. Not going to be as cheap as shelly but we have a solid product line with options for small installs like the one you are describing.
