Closing this out. Put in another Z2IO, R1 now works with the garage door as I wanted. It was a bad relay in the other unit.

Hello, Thank you for responding. I'm 99% certain it's the relay. I've double checked the wiring and even replaced it. As mentioned once I connect relay 2 it worked perfectly. Looks like I'll have to replace it. Cheers, James.

Good afternoon all, I have unit C4-Z2IO installed on all 3 of my garage doors. Two are working perfectly, the third one recently installed and configured identically seems to have an issue with relay 1. I'm using option 3 in the configuration (1 relay, 2 contacts). Relay 1 is clicking when I press the icon to open the door but it does not trigger the garage door. When I remove the wires from the C4-Z2IO unit and touch them together the door instantly opens. Additionally, re-configured to use option 1 (2 relays) and connected the wiring to relay 2 in the unit. With this configuration the garage door opens. Of course with this config I can't use the contact switch I have. Any thoughts on this issue, does the unit have a bad relay? Thanks in advance. James.
