I want to use the Lutron pico remote for a different purpose than lights. Is it possible to pair it with c4 but not part of a Lutron system? If not, is there an alternative small (ideally two button remote) I can use?

too faint of a light during the day to be able to see if it's on or off unfortunately

Looking to create a visual indicator of whether or not an alarm is turned on and then enable individual to turn it on from that physical indicator. Any ideas? I was considering things like old school flip switches, buttons in the wall, etc..

Got it and sorry a new to this question here but can you provide me links to the different dimmers you mentioned? Is C4-DIN-8APD-E the one you're referencing? I may play around with a few things to try and figure out if it's the LEDs or APD

It's a v1 dimmer. Do you know if v2 helps address any of these?

Ah interesting. Mind pointing me in the right direction of what a bulb that's compatible with the 8DIM-E looks like spec wise?
