  1. Does anyone know the reason for the official MyQ driver to be disabled currently? I was looking at options for garage doors and came across the Intrinsic Dev official driver for MyQ, however, it seems to be discontinued/disabled for now. https://www.intrinsicdev.com/downloads/official-myq-driver-for-control4/
  2. So to clarify all dimming modules are Control4 and then all the keypads are Lutron? In that case, it would be best to connect all your homeworks keypads into Control4 with the appropriate drivers, and then use the programming features to set the buttons to Control your desired Loads.
  3. Has anyone had any experience with the DCM5? Looks like a suitable all-in-one solution. Is this native C4 Zigbee?
  4. What type of cable would be required for the different levels of RBG lighting? Like how many conductors for just RGB, RGBW, and RGBCCT
  5. Yes it would be nice to also have the while colours integrated.
  6. How do these communicate with the Control4 system? Wifi? Zigbee?
  7. Wired in being wired communication start to finish. However, I am open to wireless options if they are reliable. Yes all interior and runs < 100ft
  8. Also wondering about this. If I have an AVR in a separate room with a total cable distance of < 50 feet, would it be better to go the conduit and fiber route or just use one of the standard CAT6 runs with HDbaseT baluns? I'm not looking for crazy performance, just be able to carry a good 4k signal with 60 frames per second.
  9. Hi there, I have been wondering about the best mid-range (not overly priced) solution for integrating RGBW light strips/tape light into control4. I have seen DMX systems using an RS232 DMX bridge, or IP-based DMX bridge and separate drivers/controllers for each light. Are there any all-in-one solutions such as IP-based LED light strip controllers? I have heard of Ketra from Lutron but that seems quite high-end, and on the budget side I have also seen govee's integration using a third-party driver, however, I was looking for a wired-in solution. What do most of you guys typically use or recommend? Thanks for the assistance!
  10. Hi there, This isn’t specifically Control4 related but figured I would ask here since there are lots of AV experts. Does anyone know of a simple in wall on/off switch for a pair of speakers? I’m wanting to replace the volume control dials that are currently installed since they are having a few issues. I control the volume through the amp anyway so just need toggle control. Thanks for the help!
  11. I figured I would ask this in the same stream as it's relevant. Are there also major sales targets for being just a SnapOne partner? I applied to that hoping it would be a good place to source other home A/V equipment at discounted rates, such as Sonos and Lutron.
  12. Yeah, I for sure understand where everybody is coming from with this topic. I was just gathering some information about becoming a dealer, and what that looks like for a business. Everybody has to start somewhere
  13. Yeah I agree, If I ever did get into automation, single-room systems would be my best starting point as they are low-risk and don't require too much programming. As a 1 person enterprise, I would not want to take on anything huge as that would just be too much. It would be nice if Control4 had an entry point like this for smaller dealers to just be trained on simple installs.
  14. I am in Canada, but your most likely correct with the assumption. Does anyone know the certain requirements, so I can maybe consider it for the future?
  15. Hi there, I know many of the members on the forum are Control4 dealers so I thought I would ask here. I am just starting to do home automation/technology systems on the side and would love to offer Control4 systems. I don't have projects on a consistent basis but would still like to be able to install Control4. Are there any sales requirements or business size requirements for becoming a dealer? I'm just gathering the information to see if this is something I may do in the future. Thanks! Carter
