cbc4
ge is telling me that a nx584 module will provide more feedback but ive heard the nx587 works better. i have a nx8 panel(not nx8e) and i have both modules (nx584 and nx587) does anyone know with will work better
RyanE
The 584 driver is *ancient*, and hasn't been updated in quite a while.I don't know if it gives you a full virtual keypad. The 587 driver is a DriverWorks driver, has been updated a few times, and gives you a true Virtual Keypad, along with zone updates, etc.I believe the 587 is the better way to go at this point in time.RyanE

Add the "NX-584 RS-232 Automation Module" driver to a virtual project. All the programming fields are in the documentation for that driver. poseidonsystems
Thanks funnyfarm299, I was able to get it hooked up,but had to fish around for actual documentation and went through a brief call with C4 support.
