Router Help

I know this subject has been beaten to death, but we're having problems with out current router and access points. It's too restrictive and we're having trouble getting our 10.5's on the network and want to go with something more compatable. So it seems like linksys business class routers and switches are the way to go. I need a 24 port router, 6 POE wireless access points, sand at least an 8 port POE witch for the access points. Does anyone have actual model numbers of equipment they have control4 working with? I don't want to buy any more network equipment unless I know it will work. As usual, I want to keep the cost as low as possible. I know I don't need a $5000 router for this type of thing, something around a $1000 for the router seems right, no? Let me know if I'm wrong.

Let's finally get a recommended Router, POE Switch, and Access Point with model numbers to put these issues to rest!

Thanks,

Harrison

After spending sometime online, I think I will be getting this switch Linksys SRW224G4P (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124215 and http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1169671053912&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper&lid=5391295123B06) it includes up to 12 POE ports with 180watts total.

I think I will be buying 6 Linksys WAP4400N access points with POE (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124075) but the reviews don't look good for the N, so I may just get 6 of these regular 54mbps G rated APs Linksys WAP54GP (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124188).

What do you guys think? Will these components work well with Control4? One other question is a managed switch esentially a router, or will I still need one? Can I just plug my DSL Modem right into this switch?

Thanks!

Nice switch. You will still need a router.
