niall
Hiya, I wanted to write some drivers for my system, but found the info out there was a bit hard to get started with. So I decided to write a bit of a guide to get people started, also contains a driver for twilio (online sms service) that I wrote. I'll be updating as I write some more drivers, but for now any feedback is appreciated. The tutorial is here:http://c4drivers.wordpress.com Hope its useful for someone. thanks,
Sirjimbo
looks great, trying to follow your steps. However, i can't seem to find those default templates with DriverEditor v3.0.
niall
It was done with v2.0.1, didn't realise there was a v3.0.0. Maybe try with that version, the drivers that are produced are all the same as they are just text files. Not sure what features 3.0.0 gives you to help. Matt Lowe
3.0 was an overhaul to support the new c4z files. They are working on creating templates from what i heard. As stated above allows for the new proxies and user interface custimization
RyanE
Correct. 2.X templates are for 2.X only. FYI, 3.0 currently only supports building .c4z files, so is only applicable to building drivers for 2.6 and later, while 2.x should still be used for creating .c4i files, for older versions of Control4's OS.
