Paulknapp
Has anyone found dimmable LED bulbs that work well with the old/legacy dimmers? Looking for recommendations. Happy New Year!
cdepaola
Philips 429258 11-watt A19 LED Household Dimmable Light BulbThese are the best I've personally found and they are also rated by many websites as the best dimmable as wellSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
vstar
I second the Philips, excellent led bulb with an excellent warranty. tried several brands before I found the Philips and since then have rolled them out pretty much throughout my entire house and could not be happier.I went with the colour temp i believe they have labeled "daylight" which is a nice ultra bright white light. they also offer them in a cool and warm which are varying degrees of yellow in them. in fixtures that have more than 2 bulbs i use the 7w version. I think i still have a couple of the legacy dimmers/switches in my system and have not had any issue with them.

adam333
I don't know if my switches are considered (legacy) I bought them 3 years ago. I use Cree light bulbs and love them. ThanksAdam
cdepaola
Cree makes great bulbs but many of the new generation bulbs hum loudly when dimmed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
