These units intentionally were sold with a 2Tb HDD to keep cost down and allow the user to provide their own NAS. They are the only ones on the market to do so and makes it very cost effective. There is not limitation with these units for storage capacity, as they are licensed to unlimited storage...unlike others. Let me know if still interested.
