eggzlot
What is the best method? I used some compressed air to clean off the lens and then I used just warm water with one of those microfiber cloths to clean the outside. though I removed the dome (to use compressed air on the lens/IR lights) I did not clean the inside plastic of the dome, but I think that is necessary Just vinegar/water combo? Any suggestions?
Cyknight
Best that I've found is to use a screen cleaner on the dome and even camera lens - the dome itself technically you can use any non-abrasive cleaner, lens either air/brush or screencleaner (or lens cleaner from a specialty store, though it's basically the same stuff). eggzlot
thanks so on the dome (inside and out) just use a non abrasive window/glass cleaner? I am ok using the compressed air on the lens. I think the smudges are mostly on the glass, not on the lens
Cyknight
Yes, but as you're dealing with electronics, spray on the cloth, not the dome itself
