I have visited and emailed my local Control4 integrator and am still waiting on estimates. I'm open to a self install with a remote integrator. I'm a software engineer and technical advisor to the Air Force so I'm comfortable with installing the components myself. I'm interested in lighting, house audio, garage doors, locks, and possibly video depending how far the budget goes. I have my current house wired with Cat6 running a 12 bay QNAP with Plex and MyMovies. I have the blueprints to the new house with each TV and speaker location marked. Here is my current equipment that I want to integrate with Control4 in the new house: Dell Netshelter 24U Rack QNAP TVS-1271U - i7/32GB RAM Astaro 320 - Running Sophos UTM Home Cicso 24 Port POE Switch SG200-P CyberPower 1500VA/1000W SMB UPS Dell R220 - Plex Server Dell R710 - vSphere Host 2 x Nest Thermostats 8 x Hikvision cameras Security alarm, not sure of the brand, will ask my builder Looking for advice.
