andy.cytexone
wow - this ipod dock would be great to integrate into Control4 Systems...http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/tunecenter/index.php
chambrick
That might be a great solution for client of mine thanks. They want to show family pictures stored on the computer on their new LCD in the kitchen. I wish C4 would allow pics already so I could get them started with that...and I really think Roku's Photobridge is overpriced.

Taylor
I've installed about 6 or so of the sonance iports. They are ROCKIN. They also have video back (via CAT5) for pictures and such. I have a driver already written for it in C4 too...
danlevine
Thats awesome... do you have to put them in the wall? or can they stand up on a book shelf?
Taylor
The ones we've used are all inwalls. It's kinda the idea, so that you can have one in your room, plug it in, and set it to play on c4. Like a mounted plasma, it's just "cool"
danlevine
I'm just reluctant to cut that big of hole in someone's wall for certain installs. Sometimes, sure thing but for this one job I'm thinking of it's a little bit risky...It shows they have a serial interface... I wonder if when the SDK comes down to free if we would be able to build a two way driver, so it would show the names of the songs and such right on the c4 screen... that would be awesome... Taylor
There is a RS232 adaptor avaialbe for the iport, but as far as feedback, i dunno. It'd be nice
