I was able to identify it in composer (after pushing the identify button on the back), but it doesn't show up in the System Manager. Also, i don't see an IP assigned for it in my router's setup page. i suspect that it had a static IP set, but I can't connect to it with System Manager to see the setup. neil12011 Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 just hold the button you used to identify the 300 down for about 30-40 seconds...this will completely reset the device including network setting back to dhcp. flyin Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 one of my hc300 boxes has a solid blue light on power and link and a blinking yellow light on wifi and no matter what I try I cant get the box to change from this state. what can I do ? It's asking for a level 2 restore - which may or may not work mind you - it will wipe the system software )if it's the main controller) much like a normal restore (in fact level 2 restore means running the normal restore as well).Understand that L2 restore doesn't always work, so the unit may need to be replaced/sent in for repair.
