Resetting an HC-300.

I have a second hand HC300 that I have added to my project. I was able to identify it in composer (after pushing the identify button on the back), but it doesn't show up in the System Manager. Also, i don't see an IP assigned for it in my router's setup page. i suspect that it had a static IP set, but I can't connect to it with System Manager to see the setup. Is there a way to reset the HC300 to revert to DHCP?

Thanks.

Call a dealer. It's asking for a level 2 restore - which may or may not work mind you - it will wipe the system software )if it's the main controller) much like a normal restore (in fact level 2 restore means running the normal restore as well).

Understand that L2 restore doesn't always work, so the unit may need to be replaced/sent in for repair. Even if it does work, if the same thing occurs a second time in short order, consider the unit dead.

hello. I bought a camera HC 300M. as described in the instructions, I tried to upgrade it, but the camera does not turn up and go blank. Would you recommend me what to do?

Wrong product.  Wrong forum.

Pretty sure you are in the wrong place. This is a control4 forum. Hc300 here is a home controller 300
