Matt Lowe
you could use programming commands to fire of stay or away. does not look like you can arm it from the panel and c4 will be able to tell the difference may have to do some vacation and time of day programming for the system to be a little more wise. what functions are you looking to have? LSDave
That is pretty lame unfortunately. Would like some custom programming to work when I am not home.
Cyknight
You can program based on HOME_STATE, and AWAY_STATE however, the panel will not update that variable until AFTER the exit delay is done (as it will be in EXIT_DELAY during that time) WHEN system is armed delay 61 seconds (or whatever your exit delay is plus a second more) IF HOME_STATE is true.....you get the idea

That worked very well. Im used to the HSIM on honeywell that has more direct and immediate programming options for stay vs away. The other issue i have now is that after a couple of weeks the IT230 and C4 seem to stop talking.... rebooting the controller or re-binding the serial connection seems to resolve it. Any ideas on why this might happen? And i am not using Cat5 between the modules... just a standard serial cable to the RS422 converter, and then alarm wire back to the panel. Cyknight
Have you tried cycling the 422 converter? That would be my first though.
