bneilson
OK, so I have an issue and can't seem to find anything on it here. I am using the Hopper Non-MSP driver, and all seems to be well, except... When it does a power on or off (Can't tell where the issue happens), it changes to a completely different channel than the one it was on.. Any thoughts?? Matt Lowe
but it is the hopper not the control4 that is doing this
bneilson
Thanks Matt - I will update to the MSP drivers when I get a chance. Good news is that it is at my house, so I am not getting calls from customers
Matt Lowe
BTW i have found out that dish tracks what channel you watch the most and that is the channel it will turn on to when you turn off the hopper. its stupid no know way to shut it off i have programmed mine to channel 10 -local news. but we have three hoppers and 4 adults so trying to win my channel is difficult
bneilson
Ok, That makes a little more sense - My wife watches a TON of Hallmark Channel, and that seems to be the channel the living room Hopper goes to most. Kinda like the idea, but like you, would like the opportunity to disable, or select my own "power on" channel..
