sooner2k1 Posted November 18, 2016 Share Posted November 18, 2016 Are there any sub $1,000 4K 4x4 HDMI/Analog matrix available on the market today? I found a blackbird 4x4 network matrix on Monoprice for $400ish, but I can't figure out if it is compatible with control4. I want to go to 4K TVs, but I can't justify losing a perfectly good matrix and spending another $1500 - $2000 for just that upgrade. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Gix656 Posted October 19, 2017 Share Posted October 19, 2017 In reality there is no huge benefit to an IP driver over an IR driver aside from needing to run a IR cable to the matrix. You don't need any 2 way feedback on a basic matrix and IR is more reliable then IP.
