kmonty2
I have 3 lights not working, 2 are on C4 dimmers and one on a C4 switch, and a 3 button keypad not working either. There are no lights on any of the switches and keypad. From what I can see those are the only lights not working and all other plugs and lights nearby are working, also the fan next to the C4 switch is not working either. Is it possible for one of the C4 dimmers/switch/keypad cause not power to these lights? Say if one of them went bad, I have not did any trouble shooting yet as it was dark last night when i noticed the lights not working. msgreenf
did you try pulling the air gap on the dimmer to rest it?
kmonty2
No i did not, it was 9:30 pm so i only checked breakers and all GFI plugs. Like I said it is weird that only 3 lights are not working, and the fan which is attached to the light in the master. But what is the air gap and where is it located? eddy.trochez
If the LEDs are still on on the dimmers, a controller reboot might solve your problem.
kmonty2
LED's are off only on the switch, 2 dimmers, and 3 button keypad. All other LED's are on on all others in the house. All work fine too.
eddy.trochez
Sounds like a circuit breaker. I know you stated that you checked, but make sure just in case. Turn the breaker fully off, then flip it on. If you don't turn it off first, you won't be able to turn it back on or reset it.
kmonty2
Already checked all the breakers. i guess my question is, can one of the C4 devices cause this issue. i know there are more then 3 lights on a circuit, so that's not the issue. Other light in the room are working fine, and off when that breaker is turned off. All are in the on position, and nothing in the middle. Im trying to figure out it's the C4 stuff causing this to happen.

kmonty2
Maybe my late wife is playing tricks on me, but nobody was home all day till I got there. It's a mystery, but it's all working now so that's good. eddy.trochez and South Africa C4 user

John DH
I just had this problem. 4 gang of control4 switches (three dimmers, one on/off). The three dimmers are dead- no led indicator lights, and no control over the lighting. The three dimmer switches are on a different circuit in the home's electrical distribution than the single switch that is still working. All breakers are shut and verified 115 VAC to the dead switches with a multi meter. Borrowed a new dimmer switch from my control4 dealer. Installed it, shut the breaker, verified 115 VAC to the switch and still no LED indication and no light control. Attempted 9-4-9 factory reset and that didn't work either. Also have tried resetting with the air gap switch. Auxiliary keypads that control the same 3 light sets also do not work. My control4 dealer said I should contact an electrician. Any ideas? Singularity
You should contact an electrician if those switches are on the same breaker and parallell connected. There might be a wire that is not connected properly. This is a big fire hazard. This goes to both kmonty2 and John DH.
