alanchow Posted April 9, 2018 Author Share Posted April 9, 2018 Update Sky Channels driver will now utilise the Sky Q box for channel meta data if the IP address of Sky Q is entered in the driver. If the Sky Q box is not responsive then it will revert back to the Sky web service for data based on the selected Region. nelsonriddle Posted May 14, 2018 Share Posted May 14, 2018 Hi all, I am a C4 newbie, I have installed the Chowmain Sky Driver at my home showroom and have IP control over my 3 x Sky+HD boxes, but I am struggling with getting the channel listings on any of the UI devices, what am I doing wrong, or not doing ? Please submit a ticket to our helpdesk and our Australian and US helpdesk agents will walk you through the setup. https://help.drivercentral.io/ Alternatively Control4 Technical Support in the UK are quite familiar with our driver so they may be able to assist if you prefer someone in your timezone. This should resolve limited channels returned for regions. Genres are now dynamically generated rather than hard coded. Means channels numbers will fit in dynamically to their respected genres nicer. alanchow Posted June 2, 2018 Author Share Posted June 2, 2018 The issue is that it can't connect to the Sky box on that IP address. It can literally only be one of the following.. IP Address of the Skybox is not 192.168.0.77. You have some sort of network routing issue preventing Control4 from reaching 192.168.0.77 Firmware is not on the newer firmware (post december update) - https://www.sky.com/help/articles/manually-update-sky-box-software Your dealer should look into your network to see what the problem could be. The SkyQ system is working fine. We have sorted the two networks out (Mesh from Main box to Mini Boxes) its now down to seeing if we can reach it. Sky Forum have told us to use the link below for a quick way to see box. http://ipaddress:9006/as/system/information We are using a 2nd Generation Box Alan with the power supply outside of the box.
