Jfizzle
Yesterday my C4 worked fine when I left for work. But when I returned home, all remote controls said "Waiting for network" and I couldn't access C4 from any TV. When I tried to use my iPads and iPhones they displayed an error message that said "Unable to establish connection to remote server. Please try again later." Today the error message changed and it now says: "Your system is not reachable at this time. Please try again later or contact your dealer for assistance. (403.22)" * I have rebooted the controller, rebooted the router, rebooted the cable modem, powered the entire house off and back on, changed the path cable from the controller to the switch, moved to a different port on the switch, upgraded the firmware on all wifi routers. And reached out to a member here for some remote support. But in the meantime, does anyone have any ideas on causes or solutions? I have not installed any new firewalls or computers. Several days ago I swapped out 2 Ubiquiti AC wifi points for AC-Pros but didn't everything worked fine for days after that. I could try unregistering the controller on the https://customer.control4.com/devices/controller portal as I read in one post, but it's not clear to me I can re-register it on my own. Anyone know? I think I pinpointed in the logs where things failed: 2018-04-24 20:12:40.752-0500 Control4 INFO: Connecting message: Sending INVITE 2018-04-24 20:12:40.892-0500 Control4 INFO: didReceiveAuthenticationChallenge NSURLAuthenticationMethodServerTrust FAILURES=0 2018-04-24 20:12:40.896-0500 Control4 INFO: Challenge Host: remote.control4.com 2018-04-24 20:12:40.897-0500 Control4 INFO: Challenge AuthenticationMethod: NSURLAuthenticationMethodServerTrust 2018-04-24 20:12:40.903-0500 Control4 INFO: CERT SUMMARY: remote.control4.com 2018-04-24 20:12:40.905-0500 Control4 INFO: CERT SUMMARY: thawte SSL CA - G2 2018-04-24 20:12:40.907-0500 Control4 INFO: CERT SUMMARY: thawte Primary Root CA 2018-04-24 20:13:11.336-0500 Control4 INFO: Failure in InviteService: The request timed out. 2018-04-24 20:13:11.339-0500 Control4 INFO: InviteService received error: Unable to establish connection to remote server. and then later when I tried again after rebooting things Please try again later. 2018-04-24 20:27:52.497-0500 Control4 INFO: -[ControlDirector failureCreatingTCPConnection:tag:] 2018-04-24 20:28:35.617-0500 Control4 INFO: Application is Active. 2018-04-24 20:28:35.624-0500 Control4 INFO: Giving WiFi a chance to startup... 2018-04-24 20:28:35.634-0500 Control4 INFO: WiFi has been activated! 2018-04-24 20:28:35.645-0500 Control4 INFO: Device is using WiFi connection 2018-04-24 20:28:35.649-0500 Control4 INFO: Director connecting at address 192.168.1.101 on port 5021... 2018-04-24 20:28:35.679-0500 Control4 INFO: Connecting message: Connecting to... 2018-04-24 20:28:37.042-0500 Control4 INFO: STUN socket closed 2018-04-24 20:28:37.054-0500 Control4 INFO: -[ControlDirector connectionCancellationRequestedForTag:] 2018-04-24 20:28:37.659-0500 Control4 INFO: Timeout in select() - Cancelling! -- 0 - Undefined error: 0 2018-04-24 20:28:37.662-0500 Control4 INFO: Cancelling connection to Director and today it's just full of this 2018-04-25 17:09:29.421-0500 Control4 INFO: Director unable to send command: <c4soap name="RegisterEventListener" async="1" seq="22179"><param name="idevent" type="number">32</param><param name="iditem" type="number"></param></c4soap> 2018-04-25 17:09:29.950-0500 Control4 INFO: [WatchApp] numberOfRowsInSection - watchSupported: 1 2018-04-25 17:09:29.952-0500 Control4 INFO: [WatchApp] numberOfRowsInSection - watchAppInstalled: 0 2018-04-25 17:09:30.498-0500 Control4 INFO: Director unable to send command: <c4soap name="RegisterEventListener" async="1" seq="22180"><param name="idevent" type="number">38</param><param name="iditem" type="number"></param></c4soap>
mujtaba.khokhar
Is your controller on WiFi? If the patch cable is out plugged in it should be off? Are you able to connect to the controller via composer HE? What os are you on? There are some telnet commands you can run to further diagnose. If you want I can remote assist? Jfizzle
It's not connecting to the network. I can't find the Mac address on either the Wifi or Wired network. Have run a patch cable directly to the router and it still doesn't appear. I ping the director IP address and get no response. I'm on OS 2.9. In another thread someone said they solved this by deregistering and reregistering the controller. I tried that but can't reregister the controller because I can't connect to the damn thing. I have all Macs here at home so no PC, will have to go to the office and get a laptop and download Composer HE and try to input the registration code myself. I only have Composer Media Edition under https://customer.control4.com/software/downloads so I'll have to buy that license somehow. Dealer coming out today with a laptop to check it out. mujtaba.khokhar
Okay, as long as it’s sorted EA-5 is a good choice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
