Mod file format: MOD is a computer file format used primarily to represent music, and was the first module file format. MOD files use the ".MOD" file extension, except on the Amiga where the original trackers instead use a "mod." prefix scheme, e.g. "mod.echoing". A MOD file contains a set of instruments in the form of samples, a number of patterns indicating how and when the samples are to be played, and a list of what patterns to play in what order.

If you have a camera which is JVC Everio with 30gb hard drive ,how do you convert MOD Files so I can import them into imovie?

There are tow methods to slove it:

Method1:

Connect the camera and then launch iMovie 7 or above. It will "see" your camera and offer to import the file.

Visit the video demo to know how to use it.

Method2:

iMovie supports limited formats, such as 3GP, AVI, DAT, MOV, MP4 and MPG, if you have other video formats, you can use video converter for mac to convert videos to these formats, then import to iMovie.

Visit the guide of Convert MOD on Mac or import MOD into iMovie.

Follow finish your job.
