C4tune
I have a few locations in my home that do not justify putting hikvision in, namely my unfinished and shared laundry room and my 3rd floor shared (tenants) common space. I like just enough clarity to determine if either space is occupied. All thoughts and comments are appreciated.

mallom
I think Mitch is right. Amcrest may be the cheapest PTZ camera that offers integration. PM him to discuss driver costs and installation.

I have my unifi cameras with the generic ip driver and they work fine. I haven't tried the flex camera but its the same Unifi interface so assuming it works the same. Unifi just came out with a new NVR for $200 that also has the Unifi controller software built in. I just installed it in a second home and its slick. Waring192
I have a couple of UniFi G3 cameras and the cloud key which has a internal HD. Is there a C4 driver for it or would it have to go through Blue Iris?

But unless something has changed, you can’t get the snapshot in C4. Feed looks solid though.
ejn1
Yep, no snap shot with UniFi Protect. Something I can live without but would be nice in the future.

I guess I could use the UniFI G3 cameras through Blue Iris and use the C4 Driver for them though? The cameras (3 outdoor G3 and 1 G3 Flex for the dog kennels) are still all boxed up so could sell them on. Does the Blue Iris driver give full functions like notifications etc? You can use the Unifi Cameras through the Unifi Video NVR software and have a screen shot.... (doesn’t work with The new UniFi Protect App).. or live without the screen shot but you do get the video stream. I don’t think you can do C4 alerts on motion but the Unifi software does it.
