Damitree
I am trying to implement Emotiva's 4K signal extenders with my Control4 EA5, I am using a Unifi 18 Gb/s POE switch. The intention is to set up a 4k video matrix that will have IP and RS-232 control. The link to the product is as follows: https://emotiva.com/collections/accessories/products/hdmi-hdbaset-signal-extender Any solution or advice is welcomed
BuffaloC4
HDBaseT will not “matrix” by linking them through a switch. You’ll need special senders and receivers or just link the the HDBaseT equiptment to a regular HDMI matrix.
Pounce
If you want something that can work that way you can look at these: http://justaddpower.com/ https://www.snapav.com/shop/en/snapav/search/media-over-ip https://www.video-storm.com/
lippavisual
No driver required for your linked product. You would wire RS232 from the C4 controller to the RS232 input on the Emotiva Transmitter, then from the Receiver to the device you're controlling. It's a point to point device, no IP whatsoever.
