eggzlot
I recently had new garage doors installed - MyQ based liftmaster. I got the MyQ driver but everyone said it was better to have localized sensors and not use the MyQ sensors as they are cloud based and because of polling you can get misreadings. I had an extra one of these laying around: https://www.control4.com/docs/product/wireless-contact-sensor/data-sheet/english/latest/wireless-contact-sensor-data-sheet-rev-a.pdf My alarm guy came over to do some alarm work and said he would wire this up for me. He said his door sensors could be NO or NC, I looked at Composer HE and the default was NO so he said ok I’ll wire as NO. No matter what I do I cannot get C4 and MyQ on the same page. Right now I know both doors are closed by in the C4 navigator they look open. When I look at the contact properties in HE it shows 1 door’s contact is open and the other is closed. I tried saving as NC and did save configuration and sometimes that save take 5 seconds or 5 mins, but I wait til its clear and re open/close the doors but nothing. Check in interview is set to 3 mins - could that be the issue? Just slow to respond and I just keep futzing around when I do not see immediate feedback? Should I make that 0? I am stumped - any takers on this one?
sonic30101
Is the contact bound to the garage door driver in connections?

If out of sync and i move a door ill see that doors status change in the navigator. Anything to do with how often it checks in? Again the sensor was set for 3 mins, should I change that to 0? eggzlot
I am noticing its taking about 3 mins to catch up on the proper state. Did a few tests
eggzlot
for what its worth Cinegration updated their driver for me - now the new feature is if you are using your own contact sensors you can pick normal or inverted state in their driver vs on the sensor itself. once i picked inverted via the new option in the Driver, it works great support for sure - fixing/adding to their driver during a support call to fix a problem. Thanks @Cinegration msgreenf
