EA1s processing capacity with navigators are similar to HC250s without On screen ? I guess CA1s work just fine with the new OS

EA1 is FAR more powerful, and CA1 is too (and no nav), than an HC250, and there are some other factors such as built0in storage.

The plus is OS3 gives more power on hands of the end user, and less time consuming for the dealers to set up medium to large systems

Oh?

Ovrc hubs are built in on routers and PDUs

Routers with built in pro are still limited in some ways vs hub pro

And you keep forgetting you're not forced to update to OS3 - any more than you are forced to update to the latest phone, latest game console, latest TV and so on.

It’s this type of attitude that is killing the control4 consumer.  Take any other product or industry and insert yourself into the customer’s shoes.

A fixed doorstation isn’t anything like a video game system.  The DS is part of an automation system that constantly needs updated to maintain security and integration with new devices.

I see that dealers don’t receive customer service training nor are focused on customer satisfaction.

You really need to get over your original doorstation not working in OS3. I'm done with this thread - as done as the old DS is.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
