danmojo
I’d like to flip a variable in c4 when blue iris detects motion on a camera. Has anyone figured out a way to do that? I’m going to use it to turn on some lights at night. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JEC
Use Ryan’s web event driver and then create a web action on the blue iris side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
turls
There is a nice Blue Iris C4 driver that will do that and more, I think it was on Houselogix, so not sure if it is still being sold or supported. Did you buy the driver and are you using it with OS 3? I haven't gotten any response to my support ticket.
Amr
I don't have OS3.0 am on 2.10.6.

Ok, because I'm really trying to get everything up-to-date or at least make sure I have support channels open before I upgrade--I have not heard anybody with this driver say what it does in OS3. Which could be a good thing, but I hardly ever see anything at all about this driver so maybe not...
Amr
Contact the devs and ask before you buy, if they are not responding then you should seek alternatives.

turls
Nobody responds at Audio Obsessions to e-mail, ticket automated response says I should hear back in 24 hours is a week and a half old. Forget I mentioned it. Did I mention how much I hate support portals that are ignored?
dcovach
The free C4 blue iris driver still works. I don't think the audio obsessions blue iris driver ever supported motion triggers. If it did, it was advertised as being a future feature but it never came to life. There was probably way to much liability with supporting that. Overlays on Touch screens were programmable. That's all I can remember without reading the docs again. With the free C4 blue iris driver, you can program motion triggers using the web events driver. @JEC showed me how in a private message. Requires minimal configuration in blue iris. turls
