ILoveC4
Came home and the LED on the bottom of the dimmer in my sons room was light up (like it always is when the light is off). Top button didn’t turn it on. Completely non-responsive. Pulled the tab up top to reset it and dropping the tab back down doesn’t bring it back...not even the bottom LED is on now. I tried 13-4-13 and 15 taps up top...nothing. Tried turning the breaker off and on. Nothing. Did this guy just die? Any other ideas before I rip it out and toss it in the trash? ILoveC4
No suggestions? If not, in a few hours I'm just going to pull it and toss it - I've got an extra to put in its place. Just wondering if anyone else had any other ideas before I did that.
dcovach
Try taking the cover plate off. If not aligned right, sometimes they're tight and bind against the rocker. That can cause odd behavior.

That can cause odd behavior. I’ll try that. It’s been installed for 7 years without incident.
ILoveC4
No luck. It’s in the garbage pail now.
