Show Security Sensors In UI

Aaron Kroupa

Question

Hi,

Basically I've been installing GE Concord 4 in current installations however the Interlogix Driver (via serial) has had issues picking up the names of the zones of the panel.  I would prefer to show all the sensors in the Control4 interface instead.  Is there a way of accomplishing this aside from stacking up a couple I/O Extenders?  Are other security panel drivers better?

Thanks for any advice!

All the sensors are likely hidden. try switching to the mechanical room or rack room and see if they show up. Your dealer should be able to show sensors in each room.

We use Paradox and the sensors are hidden by default and we custom progream them all to be visible. Easy Fix.

The sensors are all connected to the security panel and connected to c4 with the integration module.  I'm wondering if it's possible to view the sensors separately in UI like say if you connected a door contact to the controller itself.

Not sure if this helps, but this is my DSC PC1832 panel, using the DSC IT-100 and the Cinegration driver.  Reads the zones and sensor status no problem.  Relatively easy set-up.

This is just like the concord4 setup!  Except the zone names were not able to be picked up for some reason.  However I'm looking for a solution that doesn't group all the zones in the security panel and instead have them all listed under security.  I'm not sure if it's even possible without using the controller or I/O Extender contacts and relays.
