Amazon Music Unlimited HD and Ultra HD

Recommended Posts

I've installed the Amazon music app to my system.  When playing songs, I can click the info button and see they are streaming at 44.1 khs at 32 bit.  I know this new HD service has higher bit rates.  How can I increase those?  Have I done something wrong?  Or can someone point me to certain music on Amazon with the higher bit rates so I can confirm my system is grabbing those?

Thanks

I believe EA series only, but don't quote me

Also not every song in their library is high-res, nor is there anyway to pull up a list of only high-res songs that I've found.  That would be a great Playlist though for them to make.

I've read the sorting and finding high resolution songs is a pain versus Tidal but haven't tried yet.

Is Amazon Music High Def available with a HC800 or only with an EA5?

HC800 can buffer High Res audio, but it does not put out higher than 44.1khz/16bit audio for any source.

EAs are the first that have outputs that work at up to 192khz/24bit.
