You're right. Forgive me. How could I forget that your vast experience of plugging-in ethernet cables and crimping RCA jacks makes you the authority on circuitry design.

Cyknight is incredibly helpful, but it does seem like he has always done everything 3 times more, 3 times harder, 3 times faster, etc... than everyone else. Maybe it's true...maybe it's not. But he is generally helpful and I appreciate him sharing knowledge.

Yea. I know that. I appreciate his help too. Really.  But man he can be incredibly condescending sometimes. So I met a dick response with a dick response.

Oh I haven't for sure, I don't claim to either.

If anyone feels like it, I'm pretty sure I've made comments on anyone coming on a forum stating their 'special reason' to know anything better than anyone else on any matter.

I can't be bothered to state it again, in no small part because it doesn't matter.

It sure gave me a good laugh though!

The next big question is what happens when you need to replace the battery? Neeo’s battery is not replaceable.
Same as most smart phones on the market I suppose. Which also makes me think about how freaked out everyone was when smartphones started coming out without hard button keyboards... How's Blackberry doing these days?

Well maybe. If C4 were to start a trend. But do any other remotes have non-replaceable batteries? I actual don’t know the answer to that. I’m guessing not to many.

And you can replace your battery in your iPhone for like $29 at the Apple store.

I don't know either. I have a Samsung, not sure what happens if my battery stops working. Figured by then I will want a new phone anyways.

The best thing about this remote is we are now aware that we pay 100% more because it  has Control4
on it -
Neeo Remote £300 C4 Neeo Remote £500/£600
Thought C4 would have do a lot more with this remote Shame

Imho everyone should use one before we get so dang critical of it

This has been discussed many times. It is not the same thing. When you are using a smartphone you are looking at its screen. when you are using a TV remote you are looking at the TV, not the remote.
