jwthreatt Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Hello. Two problems here. First, for some reason I have lost the ability to control an Apple TV with C4 remote. Volume works and that’s it. I have to use Apple remote or Apple remote app to do anything else. Second problem occurred this morning. For some reason our SSID disappeared. After speaking with provider, it was reset and eventually showed again. But now we have lost C4 connection. Any connection via C4 app is lost. App can not find the system - I suppose all of the settings were changed. Not sure how to reconnect. Any thoughts? Thanks! jw Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crustyloafer Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 Is the Apple TV IR or IP controlled? Have you recently updated the OS on the Apple TV Sounds like you are using a basic ISP supplied router (not recommended) and the ISP remotely factory reset it. Chances are your C4 dealer set it up on different settings and your C4 kit on a static IP which does not now work on the router’s factory default settings. You could trying doing a network reset of your primary controller, which model controller/s do you have in the system. Failing that, contact your dealer who will be able to visit and resolve.
