brucecampbell
Hi, I'm looking at getting a used HC-800-BL to use the RS232 and Contacts so I can get rid of my HC-300 and potentially upgrade to OS 3 1. I have an HC800 running as the primary controller already - I take it another HC800 is not a problem? 2. What considerations do I need before buying from ebay? - as long as the firmware version is equal or lower than my current firmware version?? Thanks. zaphod
Something else to consider is a Global Cache device if you don't need AV, just relays and serial. Like a GC-100. brucecampbell

Also are the green chocolate blocks in the back on the pictures.

zaphod
The green blocks are the connectors for the relays. I probably bought the one you were just looking at ;-) Hopefully these are not made redundant in the near future as I just bought a bunch. I prefer the 800 to an EA1 as the EA1 does not have a proper audio output, nor does it have relay connections.

Buy yourself some esnipe. Look at sold prices on search. Figure out your price. Set bids in esnipe and go about your day. brucecampbell
