DLite
To control our Somfy shades, we use a Somfy URTSII with the URTSII Control4 driver. Will this driver work with OS3? I read in another thread that the blinds v2 proxy will not work in OS3, but I am not sure which proxy I have. Thanks
0 ILoveC4
Is this driver 2 way? The MyLink driver is one way, meaning if another source besides Control4 adjusts the shades then Control4 doesn’t know about it. I’d like Control4 to always know the state of the shades. 0 Thomas Roscoe
Not too sure if i have same serial interface but i have attached pictures of our drivers running on os3. these have worked since 2.10.6 or something since we installed them. Hope this might shed some light. Ive also attached a pic of the transmitter we use.

Thanks V2 blind proxy is older than os3, so you may have them in there already, but there are updated drivers available. There's more than one though, and I would suggest one of the 3rd party drivers as they have always worked much better in our experience. Note that Somfy is one-way only. To the best of my knowledge, that's a limitation of the device, not the driver
0 DLite
Thanks for all the help and advice. Yes, the device is one-way only. @Cyknight, would you mind sharing what your favorite 3rd party drivers are for this device, in case we need to switch? 0 Cyknight
https://drivercentral.io/platforms/control4-drivers/blinds-shades/ We use the Domosapiens one, though I've heard nothing but good about the Cinegration one as well. We just used the other first, so stuck with it.

Thanks again for the advice. I did have some head-scratching moments in the beginning, but then I finally realized that shades were stopping whenever they received two identical commands in a row. I had a bunch of these command sequences in my code to mitigate missed RF commands -- e.g., "close shade" command plus 2 second delay plus another "close shade" command as a backup. No need for the backup commands anymore, since the Cinegration driver handles the repeated commands automatically. Once I adapted my code to that functionality, all was well. What driver are you using? we tried installing OS3 and we couldn’t get the Somfy blinds to work (at the beginning they worked with OS2.6), then we returned to OS2.6 and now the blinds don’t work at all anymore. we uploaded the same file we where using but we can’t find the problem. any idea?
