South Africa C4 user
My dealer is about to update my project to OS3.1.2 which I believe was released today. He has not seen the release notes yet? Does anyone know what is new in this release?
sonic30101
I am looking at the portal and dont see 3.1.2 yet otherwise would help. First I have heard of it so no specs to divulge even if I could because they dont tell us in advance.

-defunct-
Hopefully your dealer has 3.1.2 Composer Pro and you have 3.1.2 Composer HE, I heard nothing is modifiable if you don't have matching versions.

Oops... he has Pro 3.1.2. I don’t yet have HE 3.1.2... hopefully he can fix that for me soon! Thanks also to he or she who shared the release notes with me. essentially: 1. Some new lighting products (Essential Range) - look very basic). 2. Faster camera snapshots on T3 and Android devices. I can already attest to a noticeable improvement on T3s. 3. Lots of bugs were squashed (hopefully no new ones introduced)...
cidle323
Agreed, looks like a cheaper lighting alternative: Outlet dimmer, outlet switch. AUX Keypad, FPD and switch

blub
New outlet dimmer and switch are long overdue. Essential even. Still looks ugly AF.....I just can't wrap my head around ahy Control4 doesn't start supporting Zigbee 3, so many great devices which can't be used.Control4 using any Zigbee 3 device would certainly boost zigbee in general and that's needed as ZWave is doing much better

Wish they had went with a in wall solution, even if a deeper electrical box was needed.

These devices do not work well if they are connected to a ZAP (not coordinators) within a single mesh that are NOT in range of the 'rest' of the mesh (the ZAP Coordinator). Techniacally, C4 already has been recommending getting rid of secondary ZAP and moving to mesh, in these situations you HAVE to.

I'm guessing the $45 price for Gen 1/2 devices on eBay is about to tank.

Gary Leeds UK
On HE you can run 3.1.2 on a 3.1.1 System but can Run 3.1.1 on a 3.1.2 System Great Idea makes life easy and the self updating is even better
