MagicRay
Finally I can get our NEST thermostats working with Control4?
poseidonsystems
That was relatively quick, thanks c4 dudes!
Time2Jet
I tread lightly on this subject because as we mostly know I still have a Nest TStat and 3 sensors as well have a Nest Hello in my project even though I bought a current Ecobee, sensors and a Ring Pro and some Ring Floods sitting on my bench. (And I bought the Ring driver) Mitch - what are your thoughts (I don’t really use the TStat in programming)? Should I move it over to Google and ditch the idea of the Ecobee for now? The Nest Hello still won’t have any integration, but maybe I wait a while before I switch it out for the Ring Pro. Current issues with old Nest driver: Nest TStat:No Home/Away Control. Control of Setpoints are very sluggish Neat Hello:Zero Integration Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
msgreenf
You should do whatever you want. I would say at this point in time not enough data on new driver to tell you anything. I setup one.
robbie3130
It seems Schedule is missing from the new driver.. unless I'm missing something.
msgreenf
Pretty sure it wasn't in the old driver either
BraydonH
I will confirm the old driver did not have scheduling functionality
robbie3130
Hmm weird, I'm 99% sure mine did.
robbie3130
Here is the old driver.. it didn't add scheduled events to the Nest schedule, but it for sure changed the set points "manually" via C4 when each was triggered. I had it across three Nest thermostats.
pshrop
Somewhat off topic, but is there a way to have turning my security alarm system on/off set my nest tstats to away/home, respectively?

Amr
Is Nest protect yet out of the new driver? What the hell is wrong with these people?

I’m waiting for this too - crazy they can’t be added yet. Just need them to report if there is an alarm or not so I can tie that into a report to my alarm company for remote monitor- and I want program off that alarm event of course.
