Convert Project to Visio? Or other "map display"?

Hello,

I'm new to this but my read on the project files is that they are mostly just an XML file with some plusses (i.e.: some encrypted fields, compressed data).  Has anyone ever taken a project file and exported to a system that might map the contents to a better visual display? For example, it would be great to export a map to visio and have all the inputs/outputs/ports/addresses could be labelled.

If you’re a dealer and use CPro, you can see that all in the Detective Suite module I suppose. All of your connections and programming are indicated if I recall. May not be in the format your looking for, but it’s all there.

Simply reliable does it really well. We just completed the 45 day trial and signed up. It works both ways. Meaning you can build the project using simply reliable and import it into composer. Or you can export a composer file into the software and it builds your drawings and wire plans

Oh now that's cool!  Just looking - is it the designMachine software package?

We use both design machine and smart office

its actually design machine that does it. But you would create the project in smart office. Then send it over to design machine for drawings and wire diagrams. It gives you the option to create the composer file there as well
